New Approach to Tutoring:
At Brilliant Beans, we understand that every child learns differently. That’s why we’ve designed our tutoring to focus on how children truly thrive - together.
Unlike one-to-one online tutoring, our Saturday group sessions give children the chance to collaborate, build confidence, and rediscover the joy of learning. From handwriting practice to problem-solving, our approach gets children off screens and plugged into real, engaging activities that prepare them for the classroom and beyond.
We welcome children from Years 2–6, whether they need a gentle ramp to secondary school, an 11+ boost, or simply a helping hand to stop them from falling behind. Our sessions are tailored to give children the skills and self-belief they need to flourish academically, while nurturing the curiosity and independence that will carry them through their education.
From the family behind
For over ten years, families have trusted Lucky Beans to nurture their children in the earliest and most important stages of development. Brilliant Beans was created from that same family of educators, bringing the care, experience, and values that parents already know and trust into the next chapter of learning.
Brilliant Beans was born out of more than a decade of experience at Lucky Beans nurseries, where I’ve seen first-hand how children learn best when they are supported, challenged, and inspired. I didn’t want children to be “dropped into tutoring” as a quick fix, I wanted to create something researched, intentional, and fun.
That’s why Brilliant Beans is the next step: a trusted, family-run programme that cares just as much about how children learn as what they learn. Our aim is to give every child the confidence, skills, and spark they need to thrive, both in school and in life.
As a longstanding educator and parent of four boys myself, I created Brilliant Beans to feel like a place of possibility. It’s a place where tutoring is joyful, focused, and tailored to each learner’s unique pace and spark. We also expand beyond traditional tutoring, incorporating life skills sessions into every Saturday as well as interview and
presentation skills.
